Welcome to Martlet Cottage
Martlet Cottage was skillfully created a few years ago from a 17th century barn which is situated in the heart of the pretty Somerset village of Langford Budville. This lovely community boasts a traditional pub serving fine food, a beautiful church, and numerous walks through the surrounding glorious Somerset countryside.
There are four large, individual and luxuriously appointed ensuite rooms, all with allocated off street parking.
A choice of home cooked breakfasts are served in the bright and airy first floor dining room with large french windows opening onto a spacious balcony (for fine weather breakfasts!) overlooking the open countryside and the Blackdown Hills with Wellington Monument in the distance.
Langford Budville is a charming and convenient location for exploring Somerset and Devon or for a stopover, being only a couple of miles from Junction 26M5 and the country town of Wellington, which offers all the local facilities reauired for everday life. A few miles further is the county town Taunton, great for shopping, dining and the home of Somerset Cricket. The whole area is surrounded by stunning ranges of hills, great for walking and wildlife, including Quantocks (A.O.N.B), The Blackdowns and Exmoor national Park.
